Maryland offers many services that support the employment of people with disabilities, and many of these resources are now housed in one easy-to-access place at the MD Department of Disabilities Employment & Training portal. Additionally, Maryland offers the WorkABILITY Loan Program, a low interest financing program for individuals purchasing assistive technology and work-related items to support the creation of a new businesses, work-from-home endeavors, or maintain current employment.
