About MD AT Blog
Apr 8th, 2011 by MDTAP Blog
The Maryland AT Blog is a publication of the Maryland Department of Disabilities Technology Assistance Program, aimed at providing information on AT devices, prototypes, product reviews, conference updates, and other AT related news.
We post information every day of the week. Here’s our schedule:
- Mystery Mondays – Where we include guest blog posts, event reminders, or just about anything, hence the mystery!
- Tech Tip Tuesday – We get nitty and gritty with product reviews, prototype features, and anything truly “techy.”
- Web Tip Wednesday – We’ll share a web accessibility tip every Wednesday. If internet accessibiliy is your thing, then don’t miss out on these technical “how-to” tips.
- Things to Know Thursday – Upcoming events, news to be shared and anything that you just need to know about AT, the disability community, and more.
- Weekly Wrap-Up Fridays – Fridays give us a chance to collect the AT and disability news that we’ve tweeted all week long. We share all the links in one easy-to-check place. So, grab your coffee and curl up with these great links.
School OT… Just starting to look into access point options and drive simulation possibilities for a 6 year old girl in her power w/c. Working with VI and O&M as well as PT and teachers. Ataxic and poor head control.
I have a Beststand sit-to-stand lift. I bought it in 2016 and used eight times. It is battery powered, with cord to recharge it. Also, I have four slings and the book of directions. There is n charge, except to have someone deliver to the receiver. 443-921-5118
