Travel Training Instructor
Participants will be provided with the knowledge and skills to provide quality travel training to older adults, people with disabilities, and others in their communities. The certification program teaches travel training instructors essential, practically-relevant skills, including: performing a successful trainee assessment, customized trip planning, environmental barrier examination, task analysis, training strategies, street crossing skills, boarding/alighting processes, compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), and much more.
