Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council announces the release of its
The Platform outlines what is needed to ensure people with developmental disabilities in Maryland:
- exercise control over their lives
- reach their full potential and
- lead healthy, fulfilling lives with enriching relationships
The Maryland DD Council works to advance the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all facets of community life by eliminating barriers, creating opportunities, empowering people, and promoting innovation.
The 2017 legislative session opens on January 11 and runs through April 10.
DD Day at the Legislature is scheduled for February 23 (registration will be open soon).
