Webinar: Mobile Technology @Work for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities

In recognition of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, the Assistive Technology Program for the District of Columbia (ATPDC) in conjunction with the RESNA Catalyst Project, will conduct a webinar entitled Mobile Technology @ Work for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities.  This webinar will feature Leonard McPherson, Occupational Therapist and RESNA certified Assistive Technology Professional, who will present an overview of mobile devices, smart technology, and resources that can be useful in the workplace for persons with Intellectual Disabilities.  In addition, Mr. McPherson will examine readily available technologies for time/task management, task completion, communication, and money management tech solutions and apps, which have the potential to enhance persons with Intellectual Disabilities’ strengths in the workplace in order to meet with various job demands.
