SSB’s new YouTube video series features introductory level videos created by SSB team members demonstrating assistive technology and common accessibility challenges.  A variety of videos are available to cover a wide range of topics, such as:

Visual Focus Indication

To understand this important keyboard accessibility topic Chris recommends putting away the mouse and using only the keyboard to interact with the web.  Many people with different types of mobility impairments cannot use a mouse and use only the keyboard to interact with their computer on a daily basis. Without a mouse pointer to track the current location on the screen, a user must rely much more on the user interface.  This is why visual focus indication is so important for keyboard users.

Other topics include color contrast, readability, screen magnification and much more!
