The Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT) recently launched TalentWorks (PEATworks.org/TalentWorks)—a free online tool for employers and human resources (HR) professionals that helps them ensure their online job applications and other eRecruiting technologies are accessible to job seekers with disabilities.

This website provides general background on accessibility and eRecruiting, as well as practical tip sheets for making online job applications, digital interviews, pre-employment tests and resume upload programs accessible.

Grants Will Help Develop Technology to Make Homes Accessible for Disabled Veterans, Service Members

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded more than $784,000 in Specially Adapted Housing Assistive Technology (SAHAT) Grants to individuals, researchers and organizations. The grants will be used to develop new technologies to make homes accessible for Veterans and Service Members with disabilities. The SAHAT Grant Program provides funding to design assistive technologies and increase home modification options for Veterans who apply for VA’s Specially Adapted Housing program.
