BridgingApps has created a funding source directory or iPads and mobile devices.  Because the organization has received many questions from the BridgingApps community about how to get a device funded, they compiled a list of organizations that grant iPads and similar devices to families who have children with special needs. Please use this list as a guide to explore ways to find such funding.

    Hi,
I am looking to see if I can find help getting my daughter an iPad. She is 18, has Autism. She does not read. If you sho her a picture she know what it is, but cannot read the written word with out a picture. Can you help direct me in the right direction. There was not early intervention for her, as we got her as she turned 7yrs. It has been a struggle, but I will not give up the fight. She is very smart but she cant get to the next step in life.
    Greatfully,
    karen
