Do you have a child ages 14 to 21? Does the thought of your child’s life after school make
you nervous? Do you want to start planning for the transition process but not sure where
to start?<\/p>\n

The Parents Place of Maryland’s Guiding the Journey training has gained great recognition and has trained hundreds of Maryland families over the years!<\/p>\n

During this training, parents will:\"Parents'<\/p>\n

-Understand their changing role;
-Learn about IEP Transition Planning;
-Develop a vision* and transition action plan for your
youth;
And so much more…<\/p>\n

*Charting the LifeCourse Tools will be used.<\/p>\n

Important Dates<\/strong><\/span>
Application due:<\/strong> February 6, 2023<\/p>\n

Orientation:<\/strong> February 15, 12-1 pm or 7-8 pm<\/p>\n

Training:<\/strong> February 25, March 4, 11, and 18, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
(Must attend all sessions and one orientation session)<\/p>\n
