It allows users to select which alerts it reads aloud.&nbsp; The options provided are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>IM Chat Received<\/li>\n<li>Participant has left\/joined the meeting (only Host hears)<\/li>\n<li>Participant has left\/joined waiting room (only host hears)<\/li>\n<li>Audio muted by host<\/li>\n<li>Video stopped by host<\/li>\n<li>Screen sharing started\/stopped by participant<\/li>\n<li>Recording permission granted\/revoked<\/li>\n<li>Public in-meeting chat received<\/li>\n<li>Private in-meeting chat received<\/li>\n<li>In-meeting file upload completed<\/li>\n<li>Closed captioning is available<\/li>\n<li>Closed captioning typing&nbsp;privilege is granted\/revoked<\/li>\n<li>Host privilege is granted\/revoked<\/li>\n<li>Co-host privilege is granted\/revoked<\/li>\n<li>Livestream has started\/stopped<\/li>\n<li>Participant has raised\/lowered hand (only host hears)<\/li>\n<li>Q&amp;A question received<\/li>\n<li>Q&amp;A Answer received<\/li>\n<li>Role changed to panelist<\/li>\n<li>Role changed to attendee<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The new alerts can be turned on or off individually from the Accessibility Menu, located in the settings menu when in a meeting.&nbsp; I would caution that it will likely become problematic in large webinars or classes though, as the messages being read may interfere with actually hearing the presenters.&nbsp; Thankfully, since each individual option can be selected or not, this can be tailored to your experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Zoom states they test their product using keyboard-only access and also use the latest screen readers.&nbsp;
