{"id":4219,"date":"2019-07-26T09:48:50","date_gmt":"2019-07-26T13:48:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.equipmentlink.org\/blog\/?p=4219"},"modified":"2019-07-24T11:00:23","modified_gmt":"2019-07-24T15:00:23","slug":"ios-13-accessibility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.equipmentlink.org\/blog\/?p=4219","title":{"rendered":"iOS 13 Accessibility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hey guys,<\/p>\n<p>Today marks the 29th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).&nbsp; This landmark civil rights legislation prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in the public arena.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been a busy and important week so far, but I wanted to bring you some exciting information on Apple\u2019s continuation and further development of accessibility supports through the upcoming iOS 13.&nbsp; Well, after spending more time using the beta iOS &#8212; I have really enjoyed several of the new accessibility features, especially the supports for motion sensitivity (potential migraine and seizure trigger) and color blindness supports.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.equipmentlink.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/screen11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4220\" src=\"http:\/\/www.equipmentlink.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/screen11-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"Four iphone screens with the number 13 in center of picture\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The latest motion sensitivity feature can be selected within the iOS setting menu.&nbsp; Users will have the choice to stop auto-start videos that contain parallax images, strobe light effects or other potential motion triggers.
