The Inclusive Design Lab at the University of Maryland is studying how to\u00a0make the\u00a0next\u00a0generation of\u00a0mobile computing technology more accessible for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n
The lab is looking for participants 18 years or older who own a smartphone and who are blind or visually impaired as well as participants with normal or corrected-to-normal vision.<\/p>\n
Participants will be asked to complete an\u00a0online survey relating to daily technology use. The survey does not\u00a0contain questions of a personally sensitive nature and should take at most 20 to 25 minutes to complete. At the end, participants may enter a drawing for a $100\u00a0Amazon\u00a0gift certificate.<\/p>\n
