Join us for a live demonstration on\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>August 1, 2016. <\/em><\/strong>Noon-1 pm EST<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n @ Workforce and Technology Center, Room T-130<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 2301 Argonne Drive<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Baltimore, MD 21218<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n CrowdViz<\/a>, an\u00a0innovative mobile\u00a0application for both Android and IOS, gives individuals who are blind or visually impaired the ability to immediately connect with a trusted sighted helper through a live video connection.\u00a0Through remote visual support, CrowdViz empowers people to\u00a0live as independently as they choose.<\/p>\n CrowdViz aims to push\u00a0the\u00a0boundaries in 3 main categories: quality of assistance, availability, and security.<\/p>\n Quality of Assistance:<\/strong> Our assistants go through a strict and carefully selective hiring process based on months of feedback provided from our blind or visually impaired beta testers.<\/p>\n Availability:<\/strong> We provide 24\/7 sighted staff availability.<\/p>\n Security:<\/strong> We believe the security of our end users is extremely important. For that reason our assistants undergo careful background checks during the hiring process.<\/p>\n Registration is free<\/a> but limited to 30 attendees.<\/strong>
