Google has recently launched a number of new accessibility features for Chrome OS, Android, and several of its web apps.\u00a0Here’s a quick run down of the newest features, or you can visit the Google blog post<\/a> to get the full scoop!<\/p>\n

Accessibility Scanner is a new tool for Android<\/span><\/a> that lets developers test their own apps and receive suggestions on ways to enhance accessibility.<\/p>\n

Updates in Android N include Vision Settings\u2014which lets people control settings like magnification, font size, display size and TalkBack<\/a>\u2014to the Welcome screen that appears when people activate new Android devices.<\/p>\n

Updated screenreader for Chromebooks –\u00a0ChromeVox Next Beta, includes a simplified keyboard shortcut model, a new caption panel to display speech and Braille output, and a new set of navigation sounds.<\/p>\n

Voice editing –\u00a0Google Docs now allows typing, editing and formatting using voice commands<\/a>\u2014for example, \u201ccopy\u201d or \u201cinsert table\u201d\u2014making it easier for people who can\u2019t use a touchscreen to edit documents.
