Experts from The Wheelchair Society <\/strong>and Independence Now <\/strong>will provide information and answer questions that can help you to effectively plan for, obtain, and live with a wheelchair. As of July 1, 2013, new rules apply to wheelchair suppliers and people who buy wheelchairs on Medicare. Topics include:<\/p>\n

  • Eligibility, paperwork, availability of equipment<\/li>\n
  • Local suppliers \u2013 and should you buy a wheelchair on Craigslist, Ebay or Amazon?<\/li>\n
  • Cost of manual and power wheelchairs<\/li>\n
  • Where to get information on techniques, rights, and support groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
